Timetable

The approval process involves the evaluation of the application based on the Environmental Code and the Planning and Building Act for both wind farms and power grid connections. We will address any questions or queries relevant authorities, groups and the general public may have during two separate consultation sessions.

The County Administrative Board is responsible for making the final decision on permission having considered the application based on the requirements of the Environmental Code, and will also stipulate the terms and conditions for construction and operation. The respective municipal governments are responsible for issuing the necessary building permits.

The construction process can begin as soon as permission has been granted. We aim to have the project under way by spring 2010, which will mean that the construction of the sex wind farms and the associated power grid connections will be carried out simultaneously.
